Methodology

In 2023, Coalition Greenwich undertook a study with institutional investors to assess the latest trends in ESG investing. Globally, we interviewed 310 institutional investors to gather in-depth feedback on their views of the current ESG landscape, including differentiators, policies, evidencing approaches, benchmarks, greenwashing and sources of advice. Interviews took place between May and November 2023.
